The Girona-Banyoles tram project has received its first official study, according to Infraestructures.cat. This document will assess the feasibility of a new public transport connection between Montilivi, Fontajau, Sarrià de Ter, and Banyoles.
This potential tram line aims to link the Gironès and Pla de l'Estany regions. The technical work for the study has been put out to tender for €1.29 million.
Department of Territory Initiates Project
