Figueres will host the fifth edition of its Craft Beer Tasting Fair on La Rambla on 12 and 13 June, according to organisers. This year's event will feature 14 stands, an increase from 11 in the previous edition, offering a broader selection for attendees.

The fair will include six craft beer producers from Alt Empordà, two guest producers from La Garrotxa and Northern Catalonia, and six food establishments associated with Comerç Figueres. Comerç Figueres is organising the event in collaboration with Figueres City Council.

Access to the fair is free. Opening hours are 17:00 to 22:30 on Friday and 11:00 to 14:00, then 16:00 to 22:30 on Saturday. The event has been moved from its previous September and November dates to earlier in the year.

Entertainment and Themed Tastings

Beyond the beer and food, the fair will offer a programme of entertainment. This includes four concerts, a DJ set, and a street parade. In the days leading up to the main event, five themed tastings will take place in notable or unusual locations across the city. One such location is the Chapel of Sant Sebastià, situated next to the apse of Sant Pere.

This expansion in both producers and associated food businesses aims to enhance the visitor experience, offering more variety and opportunities to sample local and regional craft products. The shift in dates also positions the fair earlier in the summer season, potentially attracting more visitors.
