The family of Adam, a 16-year-old boy who disappeared at sea in Roses, has issued a public appeal for help to find him. Adam went missing after a jet ski outing on Wednesday, 10 June, and his family has circulated a poster with his image and physical description.

The poster states Adam is 1.80 metres tall, has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt. The family has provided a contact number for anyone with genuine information about his whereabouts.

Adam's family, who live in Roses, have also shared a video on Instagram, asking for the poster to be widely distributed. A family member expressed their desperation, saying, "We need an answer, one way or another."

Call for Real Information

The family member also asked people to stop spreading rumours and speculation about the case. "The professionals are already doing their job, and all the truth will be told by the professionals," she said. She urged the public to only call the contact number if they have real information, explaining that they have received calls without any useful details.

Adam disappeared on Wednesday afternoon during a guided jet ski excursion in the Bay of Roses with other individuals. Since then, various emergency and police services have conducted search operations by land, sea, and air.

The search effort is currently in a passive phase. Authorities have not ruled out reactivating an on-the-ground search if new leads or relevant information emerge from the ongoing investigation. The Bombers de la Generalitat withdrew from the active search on Saturday after an hour-long sweep near Begur yielded no trace of the teenager.

Investigation Continues

Meanwhile, the Mossos d'Esquadra have maintained a maritime unit in the area, working with Salvamento Marítimo and the Guardia Civil. The Guardia Civil is continuing its investigation to clarify the circumstances of the disappearance.

On Monday, the Guardia Civil's Judicial Police continued to take statements from individuals connected to the incident. As part of their investigation, the Guardia Civil sealed the jet skis belonging to the company that owned the vessels on Friday. This action followed the discovery of the jet ski Adam was riding on Pals beach, several kilometres south of where he is believed to have fallen into the sea.

One hypothesis being considered by emergency services is that Adam fell into the water and may have removed or lost his life vest. The family continues to ask for public assistance and for responsible sharing of information regarding the case.
