Barcelona’s CE Europa will face Celta Fortuna in the first round of the Segunda División promotion play-offs, with the first leg set for Can Dragó on Sunday, 31 May, at 16:15.
The return leg is scheduled for Sunday, 7 June, at 16:15 in Galicia, although the venue has still to be confirmed, according to Betevé.
Europa, known as the escapulats, are preparing for the two-legged tie after Celta Fortuna finished second in Group 1 of the Primera Federación. That result set up the clash with the Catalan side.
Celta Fortuna, the reserve team of RC Celta, have used both the Estadio de Barreiro, at the club’s sports city, and Balaídos, the senior team’s stadium, for league matches this season. The final choice of venue for the return leg will matter for both teams’ preparations.
