Bagà, in Barcelona province, now has Berguedà’s most powerful ultra-rapid electric vehicle charging station, after Endesa and Bagà Council opened the new site to support travel along the C-16 corridor.
According to a company statement released on Friday, the station has a total installed power of 622 kW and six charging points. It includes two double chargers, each with 300 kW and dual CCS2 connectors, the European standard, which allows up to four vehicles to charge at the same time.
The site also has a third semi-rapid charger with 22 kW of power, which can charge two more vehicles. Endesa said the infrastructure is intended to encourage electric mobility in the area, especially for drivers passing through Berguedà.
The C-16 is a key route in Catalonia, and the new station is positioned to serve traffic moving through the corridor. The project is part of wider efforts to expand charging infrastructure across the region.
