El Vendrell, in the Penedès region, will host the latest edition of the Primavera Vendrellenca festival, starting on Saturday, 25 April 2026. The event, which began in 2021, aims to boost leisure, tourism, and commercial activity in the municipality, offering entertainment for all ages.
This year's Primavera Vendrellenca continues to provide spaces for fun, music, and celebration. Since last year, a dedicated programme has been in place for children, ensuring unique moments for families and friends across various locations in the town. A new solidarity initiative will also feature this year.
Solidarity Initiative for Child Cancer
At activities offering bar service, a 'solidarity cup' will be available, linked to the Joan Petit Hockey Tournament. This tournament is scheduled for Saturday, 30 May 2026, at the Quim Tomàs Pavilion of CE Vendrell. All funds raised from the solidarity cups will be donated to research into treatments for child cancer.
Mariona Figueras, the Councillor for Festivities, highlighted the continued involvement of local groups. "Once again, we have the participation of dance schools, popular culture groups, and the Santa Anna Administrators, as in previous editions," she stated. Councillor Figueras invited everyone, "both adults and children, to responsibly enjoy a solidarity Primavera Vendrellenca that will fill squares and streets with music and colours."
The full programme of events for Primavera Vendrellenca 2026 can be accessed on the municipal website.
