Salou, in Tarragona, will host a new casting call on Thursday 28 May for Disney’s Enredados, with organisers looking for adult male dancers and child dancers ahead of filming this summer.
The call follows earlier auditions that drew a strong response from women, leaving the production short of male dancers. Casting staff said the current balance is around five women for every man, and that more men are needed.
The selection is open to professional male dancers aged 18 to 40, from all ethnicities, features and appearances. Child dancers aged 4 to 10 are also being sought.
The casting will run from 10am to 7pm at the Hotel Sol Costa Daurada. Organisers have said they may close access earlier if the session becomes full. All participants must bring a valid DNI or NIE.
Enredados is scheduled to film several scenes in Tarragona between 1 and 10 July. The project has already drawn hundreds of people to earlier calls across the Costa Daurada.
