Cerdanyola del Vallès will host its Roser de Maig Modernist Fair, starting the calendar of modernist fairs and festivals for Barcelona province, according to the city council. The event invites visitors to travel back in time and enjoy many planned activities.

Artworks and characters from the museum will appear in the streets, historic gardens will open, and the town centre will fill with artists painting and stalls offering artisan and period products. The fair aims to bring back one of the town's key identities, making Cerdanyola "smell of modernism," officials said.

Roser de Maig Activities

The Modernist Fair is part of the broader Roser de Maig 2026 celebrations. Other events scheduled include a popular cycling event, a paella competition, and a family park. The Museum and Iberian Village of Ca n'Oliver will hold open days, and there will be a Spring Art Fair and a bonsai exhibition.

Children can take part in a photography workshop. A fairground with attractions will also be present, alongside the 10th Roser de Maig Photographic Competition.
