Three Canadian men, identified as police officers, have been arrested in Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca following a reported sexual assault on a woman in the Ciutat Vella neighbourhood of Barcelona. One of the men is accused of sexually assaulting the woman, while another allegedly struck her in the face when she resisted. The third man was reportedly in the front passenger seat of the vehicle during the incident. The woman, who works as a prostitute, reported the assault and injury, and required medical attention.
Arrests Made in Barcelona and Palma
Mossos d'Esquadra officers arrested two of the men in Barcelona. The third individual, accused of hitting the woman, fled and was later apprehended in Palma de Mallorca on Friday. One of the men detained in Barcelona faces charges of sexual assault without penetration and remains in custody after appearing before a judge on Friday.
