Barcelona Mayor Jaume Collboni will chair a meeting of La Rambla Advisory Council, "The City and La Rambla," on 5 May at 5pm in the Saló de Cròniques at Barcelona City Hall. The council aims to help with the recovery of the famous promenade for residents.

Third Deputy Mayor and Ciutat Vella district councillor Albert Batlle will also attend, along with the Commissioner for the Ciutat Vella Pact, Ivan Pera, and the President of La Rambla Advisory Council, Joan Oliveras.

Council to Present Recovery Report

During the session, the council will present its report of conclusions. This advisory body consists of representatives from civic organisations with connections to La Rambla and Barcelona. It was established to work on boosting the promenade's recovery for the city's residents.

The meeting will focus on the progress and future steps for La Rambla, a critical area for both local life and tourism in Barcelona. Officials will discuss how to best implement the recommendations from the report.
