Police officers and public service personnel were honoured in Sant Feliu de Guíxols recently, as the Baix Empordà Basic Police Area (ABP) celebrated its 'Dia de les Esquadres'. The event brought together agents from various security bodies and public services to recognise their work.
Officials described the day as "very heartfelt" and a chance to acknowledge the efforts of the agents. They specifically recalled challenges faced during the pandemic and the management of the 'procés' and 'post-procés' periods.
Recognising Public Service
The 'Dia de les Esquadres' is an annual event across Catalonia where the Mossos d'Esquadra, the autonomous police force, and other security and emergency services are recognised for their dedication. These ceremonies highlight the daily commitment of officers and public servants who ensure safety and order in their communities.
