Manresa, Catalonia: Journalist and author Xavier Bosch said the word “Manresana” appears in all ten of his novels. He made the comment during a recent appearance at the Pessics de Vida literary series in Manresa.
Bosch was the guest for May at the Cultural Centre el Casino in Manresa. The venue was full for the event, which was organised by the Central Catalonia branch of the Col·legi de Periodistes and Manresa Cultura.
He said the term is used in different contexts across his books, but it is never left out. The remark underlined his link to the city and drew attention from the audience at the event.
