Vic is at the centre of a cocaine trafficking case after Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a 41-year-old man twice in less than two weeks in the city, in Osona.

The first arrest was on Friday, 15 May, in Doctor Salarich street, in the Estadi neighbourhood. Police say the man saw a patrol, threw a package into a parked car, and officers later found 17 small packets of cocaine inside the vehicle.

On Wednesday, 27 May, officers say the same man tried to avoid police again in the same area. After spotting another police car, he hid behind a pillar and tried to put 125 wraps of cocaine into a post box. Mossos d'Esquadra observed the move and arrested him for a second time.

In total, police say they seized 142 wraps of cocaine across the two incidents. The man faces charges of cocaine trafficking, and the investigation remains open.
