In Moià, the Catalan government has presented its plan for the Moianès region, with mobility and infrastructure as the main priorities. The announcement was made on Sunday, 31 May 2026, during a visit by an informational vehicle that is touring regional capitals to explain government action.

Joan Borràs, the government delegate in Barcelona, and Xavier Escura, deputy director general of Local Cooperation, led the presentation in the Moianès capital. They said the government wants to work for all territories in Catalonia and to keep direct contact with residents to better understand local needs.

The plan for Moianès will take into account the region's specific characteristics. According to officials, improving connectivity and quality of life through better mobility and infrastructure is one of the main goals, alongside support for economic and social development.

The session ended with a question and answer period, where attendees were able to raise concerns and make suggestions to Borràs and Escura. The officials thanked those who took part for their interest and involvement.
