The Municipal Summer Camp in Valls, Tarragona, is set to return this year, transforming Eladi Homs School into a unique world filled with fantastic animals, adventures, fun, and learning. Organised by Valls City Council's Department of Education and Linguistic Policy and the Agrupament Escolta i Guia Verge de la Candela · El Cau, the camp will run from 30 June to 14 August, offering programmes for both children and adolescents.

Registrations are now open for the camp, which caters to children born between 2013 and 2021, and a youth camp for those born between 2007 and 2012. Following previous editions, the Valls Summer Camp will be inclusive for children and young people with functional diversity, adapting activities to ensure everyone can participate.

Exploring Fantastic Worlds

The theme for this year's programme is fantastic worlds, an adventure where extraordinary animals, mysterious beings, and magical characters are said to be transforming the city of Valls. Under this theme, the camp provides a socio-educational leisure programme with various activities. These include crafts, swimming pool and water games, outdoor activities, and dances and songs, all designed to help participants enjoy the summer months and school holidays.

The Summer Camp operates through projects, aiming for children to have fun while stimulating their learning. With this educational focus, the Department of Education and Linguistic Policy offers summer activities such as water games, excursions, and the development of projects chosen by the children themselves. All activities centre on education and leisure, led by an experienced team of monitors.
