In Girona, Tossa de Mar and Palamós will once again host free open-air cinema on their beaches this July as part of the Cinema Lliure cycle.
The programme also includes screenings in Tarragona, Arenys de Mar, Sitges and Mallorca. Each participating municipality will hold two screenings during July.
Before the main films, audiences will see a selection of short films from the FILMETS festival and the Nou Talent call. According to the organisers, all screenings will begin at sunset, between 21:30 and 22:00.
The cycle uses public spaces such as beaches to make cinema more accessible to residents and visitors. It brings together award-winning feature films and short works in a relaxed coastal setting.
