Terrassa police arrested four people early on Friday morning after a robbery at a Flexicar dealership on Avinguda del Vallès led to a high-speed chase.
Police sources told Metrópoli that the incident happened around 1.30am. The group’s aim was to steal the dealership’s safe, and they used two stolen vehicles, a black Jaguar and a blue Golf, to carry out the crime.
After an alert from the company, officers from the Mossos d'Esquadra and Terrassa Municipal Police responded and began pursuing the suspects. Four of the alleged robbers were arrested while travelling in the Jaguar. During the intervention, two of them collided with a police vehicle.
The other two suspects in the Jaguar tried to run away on foot along the Riera de les Arenes, but officers caught them. The occupants of the Golf escaped.
Police sources said the group appeared to act professionally. They were carrying frequency inhibitors and a safe, which suggests the robbery was planned. Investigations are continuing to identify and locate the remaining suspects.
