The 12th edition of Barcelona's popular gastronomic festival, Tast a la Rambla, will take place in Plaça de Catalunya from 28 to 31 May 2026, offering a wide array of culinary delights.

According to betevé, the event will feature tastings from approximately 30 restaurants, patisseries, tapas bars, and other gastronomic establishments from across the city. Visitors can also expect a programme of free activities throughout the four-day festival.

This year's festival will be held in Plaça de Catalunya, a temporary relocation from its traditional setting on La Rambla due to ongoing construction works on the iconic avenue, officials said.

Festival's Culinary Mission

Established in 2014, Tast a la Rambla was created with the dual aim of making high cuisine accessible to a broader public and reasserting La Rambla's significance as a major leisure and cultural hub within Barcelona. The festival has since become a recognised annual fixture in the city's culinary calendar.

From Thursday 28 May to Sunday 31 May 2026, attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes and experience the latest culinary trends in the heart of Barcelona.
