Tarragona province is set for a summer-like Monday, 8 June, with stable weather, mostly clear skies and no significant rain expected, according to meteorological services.

Along the coast, from Baix Penedès to Montsià, mornings should stay mild, with lows of 18C to 21C. Maximum temperatures in coastal towns including Tarragona, Salou, Cambrils and Torredembarra are expected to range from 26C to 29C, helped by the sea breeze.

Inland areas will feel the heat more strongly. Alt Camp, Conca de Barberà, Priorat, Terra Alta and especially Ribera d’Ebre could reach 32C to 34C around the middle of the day.

Winds are expected to be light in the morning, with variable and easterly components along the coast. From midday, the usual sea breeze should bring moderate gusts to coastal and pre-coastal areas.

Rain is not expected across most of the province. Some afternoon cloud may form in Els Ports and the pre-coastal mountain ranges, but the chance of thunderstorms is very low.

With ultraviolet radiation expected to be high, officials are advising strong sun protection for anyone spending time outdoors. For more local updates, see our news coverage.
