In Tarragona province, holiday rental prices have risen sharply, adding pressure for summer visitors across Catalonia’s coast. In Salou, some 60 m² flats are now advertised at up to €1,600 a week.

The latest analysis by Grupo Tecnitasa says Tarragona is among the areas where prices have increased by more than 8% compared with summer 2025. The report points to continued demand in the residential tourist market along the Mediterranean coast.

For holidaymakers planning a stay in the province, the figures suggest higher costs in popular seaside locations. The trend also places Tarragona among Spain’s more expensive coastal rental markets this season.
