Manresa-based Solitium Group has launched the fourth edition of its Talent Race, an initiative aimed at linking young talent from Bages with the professional world.

The competition turns student training placements into real projects focused on innovation, artificial intelligence and employment. Its aim is to give young people practical experience while encouraging innovation within participating companies.

Solitium says the Talent Race tests technical skills, teamwork, creativity and the ability to solve complex problems. This year’s edition focuses on artificial intelligence and new technologies, areas that are expected to remain important in the job market.

The company says the initiative reflects its commitment to local talent and youth employment in Bages. It is also intended to help create a more dynamic business environment in the region.

The programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs. Students work on real-world challenges, while participating companies gain fresh ideas and a possible route to future recruitment.

Next, the projects developed by students will be assessed, with successful ideas potentially integrated into Solitium’s operations or those of its partners. For more Catalonia-wide business and education coverage, see our news page.
