Granollers is now home to SEO BirdLife’s Catalan headquarters, as the conservation group shifts its base closer to the fieldwork it carries out across Catalonia.
The move places the organisation in Vallès Oriental, with easier access to the natural areas where it monitors birds, restores habitats and runs environmental education activities.
To mark the new office, SEO BirdLife organised a birdwatching outing in Parc del Falgar. The event gave participants a chance to observe local bird species in their habitat and learn more about the area’s biodiversity.
SEO BirdLife says the new Granollers base will help improve logistics for staff and volunteers involved in its conservation work. It also expects the location to support its public activities and community outreach.
