Salou, on the Costa Daurada, will host a new electronic music festival, 240 Back Home, on 29 August 2026. Organisers expect up to 10,000 people, adding another large event to the town’s summer calendar.

The festival is being driven by the 240KM/H record label. It will make its debut in Salou, with organisers saying they want it to become a regular date in Spain’s electronic music scene.

Tickets for 240 Back Home go on sale on 2 June. The venue and artist line-up have not yet been announced, although social media interest suggests strong demand.

The event comes after Festiuet, which is scheduled for 17 and 18 July. That timing extends Salou’s run of summer music events and adds to the municipality’s wider cultural offer. For more local coverage, see our news page.

Promoters describe 240 Back Home as a project linked to the community around 240KM/H, which combines a record label, promoter and creative platform focused on new electronic music. They say the name reflects a return to origins and a wish to stage the event in a place that matters to the project.

Salou has been building its profile beyond traditional tourism through major sports, cultural activities and festivals. The addition of 240 Back Home adds to that strategy and gives the town another high-profile summer booking.
