Ripoll Council has opened a grant scheme to help children and young people registered in Ripoll take part in summer camps and activities. The aid, announced on 3 June 2026, is meant to reduce the cost of educational leisure so that family finances do not prevent participation.

The grants can be used for summer camps or activities organised in Ripoll. Council officials also said the scheme covers the Agrupació Esportiva del Ripollès (AER) camp, even though it takes place in Sant Joan de les Abadesses, because many children and young people from Ripoll attend it.

Each grant will not exceed the actual cost of the activity for each child or young person, with a maximum of €300. The amount awarded will depend on the family’s income level.

Applications opened on 3 June 2026 and will stay open for fifteen working days, until 25 June. Requests must be submitted according to the regulatory guidelines, which set out the financial requirements for eligibility and the documents needed.

Applications should preferably be made online. Anyone who needs help with the process can book an appointment by calling 972 71 41 42. Full documentation, including the regulatory guidelines, application form and income declaration form, is available for consultation.

The council says the aim is to make sure all children and young people can join educational leisure activities, regardless of family income. It also notes that summer camps support social contact, values education and childcare during the summer months. For more local updates, see our news page.
