Castelló d’Empúries, in Alt Empordà, hosted the 18th Alt Empordà Entrepreneurship Awards on 29 May, with local talent and business innovation in focus.
Arnau Triola received the Entrepreneur Award, while Jordi Riera, representing Rieju, was honoured with the Entrepreneurial Success Award 2026. The ceremony recognised people and companies contributing to the area’s economic activity.
The awards, now in their 18th year, are a long-running initiative in the comarca. They aim to support the local economy by recognising individuals and firms that show drive and creativity.
