In Reus, firefighters brought a fire at an occupied plot on Carrer Raseta de Sales under control on Saturday afternoon, after a large column of smoke was seen across the area.
The Guàrdia Urbana closed the street to protect the public and give emergency crews room to work. Bombers de la Generalitat sent four fire engines and two light support vehicles to the scene.
Officials said the blaze was under control after the response. No injuries have been reported.
