The R3 train line was cut between Manlleu and Ripoll, in Osona, after a train hit a tree that had fallen onto the track during heavy rain, according to Renfe. Six passengers were evacuated from the train by firefighters, and no injuries were reported.

Renfe said it was arranging an alternative road service for passengers. The weather also caused the temporary closure of the C-17 road in Ripoll in both directions.
