More than 2,000 people took part in the PortAventura Foundation’s annual Fun Run in Tarragona this weekend. The charity race, which runs through PortAventura Park, also marked the foundation’s 15th anniversary.
The event is a regular fixture for runners from Tarragona and nearby areas, with participants supporting charitable causes while completing the course through the park’s themed zones.
The PortAventura Foundation says the Fun Run is its main annual solidarity event. Its aim is to raise funds for social projects and organisations, according to the foundation.
This year’s fundraising will go to different charitable causes, continuing the foundation’s work across the region. The specific beneficiaries are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
