Calafell, in Tarragona, has seen seven winning ONCE Cupón Diario tickets sold at a local sales point in Plaça del Mercat, with the draw on 27 May producing a total payout of €245,000.
Each ticket won €35,000. The tickets were sold by Alexander Fernández, an ONCE agent, and ONCE says that, like all its agents, he is a person with a disability.
Calafell is part of ONCE’s Tarragona regional office, which provides personalised services to 780 affiliated people. The organisation also has a network of 190 agents selling its lottery products in the area.
The Cupón Diario top prize is €500,000 for the winning number plus series. It also awards 49 prizes of €35,000 for tickets matching the five main digits, along with smaller prizes of €250, €25 and refunds.
ONCE says its lottery tickets are sold by more than 21,200 agents across Spain, including 2,500 in Catalonia. Tickets can also be bought through the Juegos ONCE digital platform and other authorised retailers. For more Catalonia news, see our news tag page.
