Tarragona is set to gain a new photovoltaic plant, as the Catalan government has opened the public information process for La Selva Solar II.

The project will be located between La Selva del Camp and Vilallonga del Camp, in Camp de Tarragona, and the planned investment is more than €2,137,760.68.

According to the project promoter, Decoae Energías Renovables 2 SL, the plant will have a nominal power of 3.5 megawatts (MW).

The public information stage gives residents and interested parties the chance to review the plans and submit comments, as is standard for large infrastructure projects in Catalonia.
