ALDI will hire 105 new staff across Catalonia between June and August 2026 to meet higher summer demand, with 21 of those jobs in Tarragona province.
The company says Girona will receive the largest share of the new posts, with 64 hires, while Barcelona will add 20. Across Spain, ALDI plans to recruit 555 people this summer, up from 280 in 2025.

The supermarket chain says its workforce has grown by 25% in the past three years, alongside the opening of new supermarkets and logistics centres. It now operates more than 500 supermarkets and seven logistics centres across Spain.
ALDI says Andalusia, the Valencian Community and Catalonia will account for most of the summer hires. Andalusia leads with 190 new workers, followed by the Valencian Community with 165 and Catalonia with 105.
