Navarcles hosted a conference on integrated care for Central Catalonia, bringing nearly 200 health and social professionals together to improve support for residents.

The event was organised by the Central Catalonia Health Region and brought together experts from health, social services, mental health and home care. The aim was to strengthen coordination and advance a more integrated, efficient and person-centred care model.

Participants discussed practical ways to improve care for people with chronic conditions, with a focus on making sure support is consistent across different services. The meeting also provided a space to share experience and identify common challenges in delivering joined-up care.

Officials said the discussions will help shape future strategies for health and social provision in the region. The work is intended to link medical treatment with social support at home, so residents receive more coordinated assistance.
