In Catalonia, Nàutic Parc is strengthening its focus on conscious, experiential tourism in the Terres de l'Ebre and Costa Daurada. The platform says it wants visitors to know these areas through the sea, river, nature and new forms of mobility.
For 25 years, Nàutic Parc has linked visitors with Mediterranean landscapes through sea and land activities. Its offer includes kayaking, paddle surfing, sailing, gastronomic experiences, family routes, nature activities and maritime getaways, with the aim of giving each visit a slower pace.
Seven municipalities share this approach, which puts outdoor experiences at the centre of the visit. It reflects a wider shift in travel, where connecting with a destination matters more than simply ticking off sights.
In the Terres de l'Ebre, the Ebre Delta remains one of the main draws. The area brings together coastline, river, rice fields, lagoons and small towns with a strong local identity. Nàutic Parc presents it as a place to sail, observe, taste and move at the pace of the landscape.
This summer, the region will host a guided kayak or paddle surf excursion on 12 August, timed with a total solar eclipse visible from the Ebre Delta. The article says the Delta is one of the few places in Catalonia where the phenomenon can be seen, and that it offers a chance to watch it from the water.
On the Costa Daurada, the offer is also changing. The coastline, long associated with family tourism, is adding more active and sea-focused proposals, including new routes and nautical activities. This season, Nàutic Parc is also adding electric jet skis and electric scooters, which it says will bring a quieter and more sustainable way to enjoy the coast.
