A motorcyclist is in critical condition after a head-on collision with a vehicle on the N-145 road in La Seu d'Urgell, Lleida, on Sunday evening. Emergency services received the alert at 7.29pm, reporting the crash at kilometre point 0.3.
The motorcyclist, whose vehicle had an Andorran licence plate, was taken to La Seu d'Urgell hospital by a SEM ambulance. The medicalised helicopter, fire brigade units, and Mossos d'Esquadra patrols were also activated in response to the incident, according to officials.
Traffic Disruption and Emergency Response
The collision led to substantial traffic queues, with drivers waiting on the roadside for the road to reopen. The N-145 was closed for a period following the accident, causing disruption for travellers in the area.
