Mollerussa, Lleida, is set to host the 36th Autotrac fair this weekend, from 24 to 26 April, focusing on used cars, vans, and agricultural and industrial machinery. Marc Solsona, Mayor of Mollerussa and President of Fira de Mollerussa, announced that expectations are good, citing strong results from the recent Sant Josep Fair and an increase in both exhibitors and exhibition space.
This year, 29 firms will exhibit, three more than in 2025, across more than 18,200 square metres. This represents an almost 14% increase from last year's 16,000 square metres. The fair will be open to the public from 10am to 8pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with free entry.
Official Opening and Participant Growth
Carles Palau, President of the Pla d'Urgell Regional Council, will officially open the event on the afternoon of 24 April. Of the 29 exhibitors, 23 are from the car sector, 5 from agricultural and industrial machinery, and 1 from services. The growth in exhibitors is entirely within the car sector, with three new firms participating for the first time.
Organisers expect to exceed last year's exhibition of over 400 cars for sale. In 2025, the fair recorded 109 car sales, generating over €2.1 million. This figure was the second-best in the event's history. Solsona indicated that the fair's goal is to maintain or even surpass this business volume.
Strong Sales Forecasts
Optimism for Autotrac stems from the successful 45th Car Show, part of the 153rd Sant Josep Fair, which saw €9 million in sales. These positive results and the good feeling before Autotrac lead the organisation to believe they can exceed €13 million in total sales across the three annual fairs that feature the automotive sector.
