In Girona province, Catalan government minister Miquel Sàmper visited the Comexi factory in Riudellots de la Selva on 6 June 2026.
The visit included a tour of the facilities with other authorities and Comexi president Pau Xifra, according to photos published by Diari de Girona.
Comexi specialises in machinery for the flexible packaging conversion industry. The company is based in Girona and is a significant employer in the area.
The visit gave the minister a first-hand look at the industrial site and its operations. It also underlined the Catalan government's contact with key industrial firms in the region.
