A man was stabbed in the back during a street fight in Badalona’s Artigues neighbourhood, with the incident reported on Carrer de Xile shortly before 1am on Sunday morning.
The Mossos d’Esquadra, Catalonia’s police force, are investigating the brawl, which reportedly involved around ten people. Footage of the fight was shared on social media, showing a large group at the scene.
Police have identified several people who took part in the altercation. The injured man was taken to hospital after the stabbing.
The investigation remains open as officers work to establish the full circumstances of the fight. They are gathering further evidence and speaking to those identified to determine their roles in the incident.
