A 19-year-old University of Lleida student has died in a road accident in Tamarit de Llitera, in the province of Huesca near the Catalan border, on Monday morning. The young woman was from the La Llitera region and was studying Physical Activity and Sport Sciences.

The collision happened at 10.20am on the A-1240 road. Her car hit a lorry, according to local reports. The lorry driver was not injured.
