Lleida is at the centre of a police investigation after four young people were arrested in La Bordeta following an alleged attack on residents with axes and sticks.
According to the Mossos d’Esquadra and Guàrdia Urbana, the suspects were three men and one woman, aged between 18 and 21. The arrests took place on 2 June 2026.
The incident happened around 13:00 on Hostal de la Bordeta street and nearby areas. Police said a resident approached people who had occupied a flat, and those individuals then allegedly assaulted and chased the resident through the street. Other neighbours stepped in to help.
