Lleida’s Guàrdia Urbana arrested four people during the Aplec del Caragol festival over Saturday night and into Sunday morning, after incidents involving theft, assault and the use of stolen credit cards.

Two 23-year-old men were arrested for stealing a mobile phone from a German national. In a separate case, a 20-year-old man was detained after injuring another person during a fight.

Police also arrested a 35-year-old man for using stolen credit cards inside the festival area. Officers said they identified him from earlier security footage.

In a separate incident on Sunday, the Guàrdia Urbana arrested a 40-year-old man for public indecency in Lleida. He was detained after exposing himself in front of children at the Victorina Vila playground in the Joc de la Bola neighbourhood.

Local police said the man appeared to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of his arrest. For more local reporting, see our news coverage.
