Girona has become the setting for the presentation of the new Lexus TZ, a six-seat electric SUV that marks a further step in the brand’s move towards larger, fully electric models. Lexus Girona says the vehicle was officially unveiled on 7 May 2026.
The TZ is designed around space, technology and comfort. Lexus describes the cabin as a “Driving Lounge”, with a focus on relaxed travel for daily use, longer road trips, weekend breaks and family holidays.
The model is a three-row SUV measuring 5,100 mm in length with a 3,050 mm wheelbase. Lexus says the second row uses captain-style seats, while the third row is intended to offer enough room for adults, not just children or short trips. The interior also includes a panoramic roof and materials such as forged bamboo and recycled aluminium.
According to provisional Lexus data, the TZ is expected to use a 95.8 kWh battery, deliver up to 408 CV of system power and offer a range of up to 540 kilometres, pending final homologation. The brand also says fast charging from 10% to 80% should take about 35 minutes.
Technology features include the DIRECT4 AWD system, a Comfort mode, a 14-inch central screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and Lexus Invisible Tech solutions. Lexus says the aim is to keep the cabin intuitive rather than overly digital.
For drivers in Girona and across Catalonia, the TZ is positioned as a premium electric SUV for commuting, family travel and longer journeys.
