In Girona province, environmental group SOS Costa Brava has lodged a complaint with Girona’s Territorial Urban Planning Services over alleged planning irregularities at Wecamp Cadaqués campsite in Cadaqués.

The federation says it first reported the issues three years ago. At that time, it asked for an urgent inspection, a halt to any ongoing works, and the start of a sanctioning process against the campsite.

SOS Costa Brava also says the Cadaqués Town Council has failed to act on the alleged breaches. The group argues that the matter should be addressed through the urban planning authorities.

The complaint is the latest step in a dispute over development and planning compliance in the coastal municipality. For more Catalonia-wide local reporting, see our news coverage.
