In Salt, the municipal council will decide on Monday whether to approve a contract extension for La Mirona concert hall, a major music venue in the Girona area and one of Catalonia's most important cultural spaces.

The venue needs the council to back a new extension to its management contract with RGB Music SL. Without that agreement, La Mirona's activities would formally stop after 25 June.

Both the venue's management and Salt council are sending a message of reassurance, and there is an expectation that the issue will be resolved. The vote is therefore seen as key to the hall's continued operation.

La Mirona has long been a central part of the local live music scene, hosting major acts and drawing audiences from across the region. If the extension is approved, the hall will be able to continue its events programme and remain part of Catalonia's cultural offer.
