In Catalonia, Jonathan Andic has temporarily stepped down as vice-president of Mango while he faces an investigation into the alleged murder of his father, company founder Isak Andic.
Andic announced the decision in an open letter. He said he would keep responsibilities linked to family, business and social projects, but that the temporary move would let him focus on defending his innocence.
The investigation relates to the death of Isak Andic during an excursion to Montserrat. Jonathan Andic is currently on conditional release while the case continues.
The matter has drawn attention to one of Catalonia’s best-known business families and to Mango, the fashion company founded by Isak Andic. For more on related coverage, see our news tag.
