In Figueres, Hoquei Figueres is holding free open days for boys and girls born between 2018 and 2022. The sessions are set for 11 and 18 June, from 17:30 to 18:30, at the Rafel Mora pavilion, according to club officials. A previous session took place on 4 June.

The club says the aim is to give young children a first chance to try roller hockey without any initial cost. Families attending the open days do not need to bring equipment, as the club is providing what is needed for the sport.

Children only need to bring a bicycle helmet, knee pads if they have them, and a water bottle. Hoquei Figueres is also offering two months of free trial practice after the open days.

The sessions are part of the club's wider effort to encourage youth participation in sport and introduce new players to roller hockey. By removing some of the usual barriers, the club is making the activity more accessible for local families.

Families interested in attending can go directly to the Rafel Mora pavilion on the remaining dates. For more Catalonia-wide local news, see news.
