In Girona province, four residents from Breda, Figueres, Girona and Llofriu have died, according to Diari de Girona. Funeral ceremonies are scheduled for three of them on Sunday, 7 June 2026.
In Breda, Alvaro González Lanchazo died at the age of 28. He was single and lived in Breda. His ceremony will take place on Sunday at 12:30pm at the Santa Maria de Breda parish church.
In Figueres, Isabel Ruiz Ruiz died at 75. She was the widow of José F. Fernández Vilches and is survived by three children. Her ceremony is scheduled for 10am on Sunday at the Vicens Funeral Home Ceremony Hall in Figueres.
Montserrat Cànovas Barnola, a Girona resident, died at 102. She was single. Her ceremony will be held at 11:30am on Sunday at the Mémora Funeral Home in Girona.
In Llofriu, Enric Pous Vidal died at 92. He was married to Griselda Barceló Manaut and lived in Llofriu. Details of his ceremony were not immediately available.
