Girona hosted the second EMpodera't Festival on Saturday, 30 May 2026, at the El Corte Inglés terrace, with the aim of raising awareness of multiple sclerosis (MS) across the city and beyond Catalonia.
Organised in collaboration with the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, the event coincided with World MS Day. It brought together people living with MS and members of the public for a day focused on understanding the condition and its impact.
The programme included music performances, magic shows, interactive workshops and personal testimonies from people with MS. Several charity initiatives were also part of the day.
The festival was designed to create a space for information, support and community engagement, while helping attendees learn more about the realities of living with MS.
