Figueres will host the 13th edition of Figueres es MOU from 2 to 5 July, bringing nearly 20 free dance and movement performances to the city.

The festival will take place across several locations in Figueres, Girona, with Parc de les Aigües again among the venues. All performances are free to attend.

This year’s programme focuses on ageing, with organisers using contemporary dance to reflect on the collective and community experience of growing older. The festival also supports new Catalan, Spanish and international creations.

Figueres es MOU has become a regular part of the local cultural calendar by offering accessible performances in public spaces. More details on the wider cultural agenda in Catalonia can be found on our news page.
