Terrassa commuters are facing disruption after a catenary fault stopped Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) S1 services between Terrassa-Rambla and Rubí in Catalonia. The incident was reported at Les Fonts station at 11:30am today.

FGC has arranged an alternative bus service for the affected stretch. The company also said the fault is affecting the frequency of both the S1, between Barcelona and Terrassa, and the S2, between Barcelona and Sabadell, with trains now running every 20 minutes.

Passengers travelling to Terrassa were advised by FGC on X, formerly Twitter, to use Rodalies commuter rail services as an alternative. For official service updates, see the FGC website and the Rodalies service information.
