Girona’s Espai Gironès shopping centre will host the first edition of The Burger Cup from 4 to 14 June. The event will take place in the centre’s outdoor car park and will feature twelve food trucks.
The travelling burger championship has already visited other cities in Spain. In Girona, organisers say it will combine urban gastronomy with live music, family activities and prize draws.
The programme is designed for all ages, with food options from the participating trucks alongside entertainment for families. The format also brings a competitive element between vendors.
